Fully Funded Training for those impacted by Covid-19
The Department for the Economy recently announced a £1.7m investment in skills development for those impacted by Covid-19. Through this investment, Belfast Met is delivering fully funded qualifications in areas such as, Leadership & Management, Marketing, Children’s Care and Education, Cyber Security and Digital Construction.
A range of courses are now open for enrolment to those whose jobs have been furloughed, have been made redundant or are at risk of redundancy. Each course is delivered online through a virtual learning environment with a lecturer who will support learners through a series of tutorials. All courses are designed to be engaging, encourage interaction and fit within the needs of a busy lifestyle.
These short courses provide a valuable opportunity for individuals to upskill, retrain and achieve qualifications that will assist them in securing a new job or support their place of work when they return.
