Belfast Met is the largest provider of Full-Time A-Level programmes in the Northern Ireland Further Education sector. However, despite our size we take pride in the fact that every student joining our A-Level programmes is made to feel welcome and given the level of pastoral and educational guidance required to make their time with us successful and enjoyable.
We deliver A-Levels through our two year programme (AS in year 1, A2 in year 2) or The Fast-Track Programme (AS/A2 combined in one year).
Been away from formal education for a while? Looking to take a change of direction? Why not return to education with a fast track to Higher Education course? We offer a wide choice of Full-Time and Part-Time specially designed Access courses.
Our welcoming, flexible College environment is ideal for students returning to education. Our course coordinators and teaching staff have extensive experience of the challenges and the rewards and work hard to help you fulfil your goals. While our College atmosphere may be informal, we are committed to excellence and determined to deliver challenging and stimulating courses that will provide a solid foundation for your next step.
Our Access school also offers the Higher Certificate in Combined Behavioural & Social Sciences as an alternative route for students who are appropriately qualified and wish to undertake a Level 4 programme in this field. (Part-time courses only).
