Youth Lyric & Belfast Met students bring classic story to life!

Following their 2019 sell out success with Age on Stage, Youth Lyric, in partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College, roar into production of Belfast playwright Stewart Love’s classic Titanic.

Award winning actor/producer Wilfie Pyper MBE makes his directorial debut with Youth Lyric with students from Belfast Met to bring this classic story of love and loss to brilliant theatrical life!

Titanic tells the story of the conception, construction and eventual sinking of the mighty RMS Titanic. A tale of the pride and achievements of the people of Belfast and the anxious eyes of passengers and crew stare at the cruel waters.

Belfast Met Graphic Design, Media, Journalism, Visual Effects, Music, Costume and Make Up students have been given the fantastic opportunity to work on the upcoming show.

Head of Belfast Met School of Creative & Digital Industries Ian McCormick and lecturer Lynda Bryans, who is also Chair of the Youth Lyric Board, recently joined Carolyn Stewart on U105 to chat about the project. Listen on this link
