Project Based Learning success for Belfast Met and Youth Lyric!

Staff and students from the School of Creative and Digital Industries partnered with Youth Lyric to present a stunning production of Titanic by Stewart Love directed by Wilfie Pyper MBE in Theatre at the Mill Newtownabbey in March.
Students from eight level three and level five courses including Graphic Design, Media, Journalism, Visual Effects, Music, Costume and Make Up contributed to it as part of their assessments. Head of Department Ian McCormick and lecturer Lynda Bryans, who is also Chair of the Youth Lyric Board, also joined Carolyn Stewart on U105 to chat about the project.
The VIP night was attended by Frank Bryan Chair of the Belfast Metropolitan College Governing Body along with College staff, sponsors and elected representatives including Paula Bradshaw MLA and Cllr. Jim Montgomery.
