Belfast Met Boxing Academy at Irish University Championships
The Belfast Met Boxing Academy was in action at the weekend when they competed at the Irish University Championships! Belfast Met had a strong team at the championships and two boxers Gerard Hughes and Ryan Hamilton were unlucky to lose out in close contests. Student Ben Patton had to compete on both the Saturday and Sunday for his division and won both his fights by stoppage.
Belfast Met have 5 athletes into the finals next weekend which take place on Friday and Saturday at the National Stadium in Dublin! Good luck to all the athletes competing next weekend!
