Digital Marketing Graduate Academy
Are you interested in a career in Digital Marketing? The 12-week Digital Marketing Academy may be for you. No previous experience in Digital Marketing is required and applicants from all disciplines are welcome.
The Digital Marketing Academy will include College training and 10 weeks of practical on the job experience. During the academy you will have the opportunity to gain an industry recognised qualification, OCN Level 4 Award in Social Media and Digital Marketing. In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply your newly acquired skills with a Northern Ireland based company.
Training will be online through a virtual classroom. You will need appropriate IT access (laptop/ PC and internet access) to link to the online tuition.
What Skills and Qualifications will you gain?
If you’re selected for the programme you will receive practical industry training and the opportunity to gain an industry recognised qualification, OCN Level 4 Award in Social Media and Digital Marketing. In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply your newly acquired skills with a Northern Ireland based company.
When will the Programme run?
The programme will run for 12 weeks in total.
We will meet you online for an introduction session on Wednesday 12th January 2022 from 10am to 11am. The academic teaching will commence online on Monday 17th January from 9.30am-4.30pm, Monday - Friday for 2 weeks.
From Monday 31st January until Friday 8th April 2022, academic teaching will take place online on a Monday from 9.30am to 1.30pm and you will be on work placement Tuesday-Friday 9am to 5pm daily.
Remuneration
When you're on the training programme, you:
- Will receive a weekly training allowance of £150 (based upon full attendance)
- Will be reimbursed weekly travel expenses (if you are attending the College campus in person – it is planned that all training delivery will take place online, but you may be reimbursed if you are required to travel to your work placement)
- May be eligible for childcare allowance
Entry Criteria
- You are eligible to work in the UK
- You have a degree in any discipline.
If demand exceeds place availability further eligibility criteria will be applied.
Application Process
The application portal will open on 13th December 2021 and close on 5th January 2022.
Successful candidates will be informed on January 7th 2022.
Training with Belfast Met will commence on Monday 17th January 2022 and the industry placement will commence on Tuesday 1st February 2022. The placement will end on Friday 08 April 2022.
