Belfast Metropolitan College has an ongoing partnership with the Royal Television Society (RTS) and we were delighted that current HND Creative Media students Stacey Burns and Michael Murray-Draine had the opportunity to work at a recent RTS event entitled "Creating the Visual World of Game of Thrones" with Emmy and BAFTA award winning production designer Deborah Riley. Deborah reflected on her inspirational career journey in a master class followed by Q & A in the Black Box, Hill Street Belfast.
Speaking about the event, Curriculum Area Manager Alan Serplus said; "I am delighted that out students had the opportunity to work with such an internationally acclaimed Production Designer as Deborah Riley. It was also a great pleasure to see them learn from the achievements of our former students Sara Gunn-Smith, from Film Hub NI and Sarah McCaffrey Vice-Chair of the RTS NI committee."
