Economy Minister Diane Dodds has announced that Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week 2021 will take place from the 26th to the 30th of April 2021. Belfast Met’s partnership with Allen & Overy has been shortlisted as one of three finalists for the Large Employer Award 2021 category.

Through a series of mostly virtual events, NI Apprenticeship Week will be showcasing how apprenticeships can work to strengthen businesses, communities and the economy. Belfast Met is preparing for NI Apprenticeship Week and our upcoming events will be online soon.

The Apprenticeship Awards 2021 is central to NI Apprenticeship Week which aims to recognise excellence in apprenticeships. We wish everyone well for the virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday 28 April 2021.

Last year Belfast Met picked up two awards; Belfast Met apprentice Will Bradley employed by BT who was joint winner of the Higher Level Apprentice Award last year and is pictured above with Minister Doods at the 2021 launch, as well as the Large Employer Innovation Award with our employer partner Citi.
