Creative Media Students Network with the Media
Our dynamic Creative Media students have recently attended exciting careers events hosted by Royal Television Society (RTS) Media Careers Fair and the Belfast Media Festival (BMF).
RTS Careers Fair featured Belfast Met lecturer Aidan Browne as MC who was joined by students from HND Creative Media Visual Effects and Media programmes. Students had an opportunity to meet NI broadcasters Naomi Mullan and Judith Hill who gave careers advice to our students and participated in one to one mentoring sessions.
Speaking about the event Head of School Bernie Scullion stated:
" I was delighted to hear that our students received so much expert advice at the RTS Media Careers fair. We have an excellent relationship with employers in this expanding industry."
Students from HND Creative Media Production attended the Belfast Media Festival with Aidan Browne. The students met a number of high profile industry figures including Wayne Garvie, Chief Creative Officer at Sony and Greg Spence, Producer of Game of Thrones who provided advice on building their careers in industry.
