Belfast Metropolitan College Receives First Outstanding Centre of Excellence Award for IT Certifications

Belfast Metropolitan College has received the first “Outstanding Centre of Excellence Award” from Prodigy Learning for the delivery of internationally recognised IT certifications from industry leaders such as Adobe, HP and Microsoft.

Prodigy Learning awards Centre of Excellence status annually to a small number of academic institutions and training providers in the UK & Ireland to mark the delivery of over 250 IT certifications in the year.  This new Outstanding Centre of Excellence Award is to recognise a select group of centres (20 across the UK & Ireland) that reach the highest level of achievement. 

The College achieved this new recognition through particular success with delivery of the Adobe Certified Associate, HP Accredited Technical Associate, Microsoft Office Specialist and Microsoft Technology Associate programmes.  These certifications improve employability for students and productivity for employees.
