Media students and alumni meet Game of Thrones Production Designer
Belfast Metropolitan College has an ongoing partnership with the Royal Television Society (RTS) and we were delighted that current HND Creative Media students Stacey Burns and Michael Murray-Draine had the opportunity to work at a recent RTS event entitled "Creating the Visual World of Game of Thrones" with Emmy and BAFTA award winning production designer Deborah Riley. Deborah reflected on her inspirational career journey in a master class followed by Q & A in the Black Box, Hill Street Belfast.Speaking about the event, Curriculum Area Manager Alan Serplus said; "I am delighted that out students had the opportunity to work with such an internationally acclaimed Production Designer as Deborah Riley. It was also a great pleasure to see them learn from the achievements of our former students Sara Gunn-Smith, from Film Hub NI and Sarah McCaffrey Vice-Chair of the RTS NI committee."
