Ms Maura Lavery, Deputy Director for Curriculum Services at Belfast Metropolitan College, was delighted to formally launch the recent end of year exhibition of work by students on the HND in Graphic Design.

Maura joined course co-ordinator Gareth Stewart and student Ciaran McGarrity from Downpatrick to put the finishing touches to the display which received a great deal of critical acclaim for those who visited last week.

Speaking about the event, Programme Area Manager Carol Richmond said “I am delighted that our HND Graphic Design students were able to stage such a professional exhibition, which reflects the consistently high standard of teaching and learning on their programme”.

The exhibition was visited by parents and supporters from across Northern Ireland, as well as leading industry professionals who were particularly delighted to see the results of Project-Based Learning on the programme.
