Part-Time Study

Belfast Met is all about making it easy for you to learn, with a huge choice of part-time courses that let you combine study with work, family and other commitments. Whether your goal is getting new skills and interests, returning to study, or achieving further qualifications, our flexible approach helps make it possible.

We offer a wide range of part-time programmes to match every need and interest, from leisure classes to university level. With 4 main campuses and many additional learning centres, plus an extensive line-up of courses and times, we have more choices to help you find a time and place that suits you.

Part-time Open Day

Invest in yourself and become more employable by coming along to our Part-time Information Day on 5th September from 3pm - 8pm at our Titanic Quarter Campus. 

At the information day you will have a chance to speak with tutors and career advisers about training opportunities and professional, leisure and academic courses up to and including degree level. 

How to Apply

If ‘Apply’ is shown, it means that the course has entry requirements and you must apply for the course.  Search the online prospectus via the course search at www.belfastmet.ac.uk to find courses to study. Once you find a course you are interested in click on ‘Add course to basket’ then follow instructions to continue browsing for courses and submit an application. For further information click here.

How to Enrol

If your course is marked ' Enrol' then follow the steps outlined below:

By Telephone 

Full fee must be paid at time of enrolment. During business hours, please call 02890 265 265 Option 1.  A mini-com is available for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.  To use this service, telephone:028 9026 5126. Lines are open Monday to Thursday 9.00 am to 3.30 pm and Friday 9.00 am – 3.00 pm. Please ensure you have the course details and valid debit/credit card information.

You can enrol at our Castlereagh, Millfield and Titanic Quarter campuses. 

By Post 

Complete enrolment and monitoring forms (available here to download or any main College campus). The completed form must be accompanied by payment – either cheque/postal order or debit/credit card details. If you are entitled to a reduced fee, photocopies of evidence (dated within last three months) must accompany the form.  

Send the completed form with payment (and evidence where appropriate) to:

Please note your enrolment form must be received two weeks prior to the start of the course.  Please note anyone wishing to enrol onto a class after start date must seek permission from Course tutor before enrolment can progress. (Enrolment subject to places available on the course.)
