This course will equip students
with construction skills, knowledge and the understanding necessary toachieve high performance in the
construction environment. To provide education and training for a range of careers in construction,
including management, administration, surveying, technology, design and law.
The course will provide insight
and understanding into construction operations and the opportunities and challenges
presented by a globalised market place.

Career Opportunities / Progression
This course provides opportunities for
students to enter or progress in employment in construction or progress to higher education qualifications such as an
Honours degree in construction or a related area.
One 'A' Level pass in an appropriate subject area plus four GCSEs (100 UCAS points);
BTEC National Certificate or Diploma in building/construction or a related discipline;
Level 3 Vocational Qualification or equivalent in a Construction related area;
Mature entrants with previous construction experience may be considered through the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL).

After successful completion of the course students can progress to full time employment in the relevant industry.
