Courses for Students with Learning Disabilities

The College offers a range of courses delivered full-time through the further education learning pathway or Training for Success (TFS) pathway. These pathways are designed to enable and support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to develop Independent living skills, enterprise and employability skills as well as Essential Skills.

In addition students can select courses in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT which are delivered through practical contexts such as money management, personal and household budgeting, enterprise, shopping, cookery as well as planning for work and leisure time.

These courses are delivered within a supportive and encouraging environment. Staff are experienced and skilled in teaching and supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities, enabling them to learn and progress.
