Whether you’d like to brush up on your essential skills, re-sit exams, get your A Levels/GCSEs, enrol on a degree course or get on an Apprenticeship and Training Programme – Belfast Met should be your first port of call.
Over the past few years the college has invested upwards of £60m on improving our four campuses across Belfast to give students the best learning experience possible while attending the college. Not only that but students at Belfast Met will also benefit from smaller classes, student support, cheaper fees for higher education, a vibrant student’s union and the widest range of courses available for school leavers in Northern Ireland.
Over 90% of our students would recommend Belfast Met to a member of their family, friend or Peer which is a result of us providing real, affordable courses that lead people into work and are a direct response to industry requirements.
The college offers a range of full time and part time course types – most of which students can apply or enrol directly onto - including A Levels, Access, HNDs, Foundation Degrees and BTEC in subjects to suit everyone’s needs including those most in demand such as IT, marketing, science and engineering as well as hospitality, HR and health sciences.
Belfast Met also runs a Skills and Apprenticeship Programme in traditional areas such as joinery, plumbing, hospitality and hairdressing as well as professional areas such as accounting and digital. This allows students to gain valuable hands-on experience in their chosen field while earning and preparing themselves for the world of work.
To find out more and speak to college staff about options, come along to Belfast Met’s Higher Education Clearing Day which will take place on August 23 and its Further Education Clearing Day will take place on August 31 – both at the state of the art Titanic Quarter Campus from 9am to 2pm.
