ILM Level 3 Diploma in Management- Apprenticeship (601/3240/1)
Overview
The Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management is ideal for individuals who have management responsibilities but no formal training and are serious about developing their abilities. It particularly supports practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people though organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures. It also supports new or aspiring team leaders - helping them make the transition from working in a team to leading a team.
The qualification is made up of a wide range of units covering core management skills – such as understanding how to organise and delegate – plus skills in communication, team leadership, change, innovation and managing people and relationships. Learners are required to attain a minimum of 37 credits in order to achieve this qualification

There are no formal entry requirements but applicants must have a level of competence in written and spoken English.
All courses within Belfast Met are delivered and assessed in English, apart from language-specific courses. Your competence in English must be verified prior to enrolling on your chosen course.

This course tuition fee is fully funded by the Department for the Economy.
Students are assessed using a range of different methods.
These include exams, assignments, work place observations, knowledge questions and professional discussions.
This is dependent on the requirements of each unit of study. Oral, written and online feedback will be provided during your course.
Careers
If you are interested in developing your management career or further study, you may progress to a level 4 Certificate in Management and Leadership upon completion of Level 3.
