IT Apprenticeships



Successful applicants will be employed in one of the participating companies and receive “on-the job” training from Belfast Met. 

Level 3 IT Apprenticeship (Digital Forensics, Networking & Infrastructure Software Development)

Level 5 IT Higher Level Apprenticeship (Cyber Security & Networking Infrastructure, Cloud & Application Development) 

Apprentices will be employed in various sectors covering a variety of areas depending on Pathway in areas such as Infrastructure, Software Development, Cyber Security & Cloud and Application Development roles with the firms investing in their training to enable them to gain a Level 3 or 5 qualifications (depending on program) and beyond.

Additional Information
  • Successful applicants will be able to apply to companies from 7th September
  • Remotely invigilated verification tests will be held:
o 1st – 4th September
o Applicants will be able to select their preferred dates subject to places available
o Applicants will need a webcam to sit this second test.

  • Applicants must upload their certificates to Mindmill or tick a box to say they don’t have them but have ordered them with proof of ordering.
  • Anyone who has applied before can still use their old username and email but all other information must be re-entered as Mindmill delete after 6 months.
