Overview

The Higher Level Apprenticeship in Procurement and Supply Chain Management is a 3 year course covering; CIPS Level 4 Diploma, CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma and CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply. 

The HLA is delivered on a day-release basis: one day per week will be spent at Belfast Met and four days per week will be spent in the workplace.The course will be delivered via face to face lectures, webinars, e-learning, remote sessions and where necessary, one‑to‑one tutorials.

Requirements
Three passes at A-Level or CIPS professional entry pre-requisites verified.
All courses within Belfast Met are delivered and assessed in English, apart from language-specific courses. Your competence in English must be verified prior to enrolling on your chosen course.
Fees

This course will be funded by the Department of the Economy.

There will be an additional cost for CIPS membership and manuals to be paid by learners direct to CIPS. 

CIPS student membership is approximately £600, The Set of study guides cost approximately £308

Assessment

Assessment is examination-based through Objective Response (OR) and Constructed Response (CR) formats. 

Apprentice competence is evidenced through a structured e-portfolio tracking achievement across all module outcomes at Levels 4, 5 and 6.

Successful completion of Level 6 enables progression to MCIPS status after three years’ relevant experience. Learners may also progress to the CIPS Level 7 Executive Diploma for senior‑level procurement leadership roles.
