This course is funded through the Skill Up programme. Skill UP has been designed to provide additional upskilling and reskilling opportunities to improve the skills profile of our local workforce.
About the Course
The OCN NI Level 3 suite of qualifications in Creative Arts and Digital Technologies have been designed to reflect the skills and knowledge required to undertake activities that fall under the creative arts and digital technology sectors including:
→ the use of technology within creative arts
→ working within the creative industries
→ creative skills and techniques
You will complete one unit: Sound for Moving Image. This unit will enable the learner to understand the use of sound in film and techniques used in capturing sound for film.
Learning Outcomes
1.Understand the relationship between sound and picture in film.
2. Be able to develop a plan for sound in a short film production
3. Be able to record sound for a short film production. techniques for sound during post-production for a short film production
The course will be delivered at our Millfield Campus.
Progression
The OCN NI Level 3 Award Diploma in Creative Arts and Digital Technologies allows for progression within the suite and to further learning in creative arts and digital technologies or related areas and/or into employment.
To take part in a Skill Up course or programme, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
• Applicants to be 18 years or older at point of enrolment;
• Applicants must have a right to work and undertake training in the UK at the point of application and for the duration of the course and must not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status.
