Engineers are the drivers of modern life, researching, designing, building and maintaining infrastructures all around us. From our roads, cars and properties to ships, planes and explosives, the engineering sector puts the laws of science and technology into practice.

Traineeship Route
Applicants must
- Achieve or have achieved 4 GCSEs grades A-G with a minimum
- GCSE grade D in Mathematics and
- GCSE grade D in English
- Endeavour to source a placement with an engineering employer prior to enrolment on the course.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum entry requirements in Mathematics and English will be provided with advice regarding suitable alternative courses.
Non-native speakers must provide evidence of competency in English Language.
Apprenticeship Route
Applicants must

- Have secured employment with an engineering firm.
