Overview
This course is designed to suit new, introductory learners, right up to experienced welders who need a specialist skill, or people preparing for NVQ Level 2 or industrial accreditation.
The course is designed to enable you to gain welding skills and knowledge to a level that will enable you to complete welded joints in a selection of positions.
The delivery of this course combines theoretical lectures, practical demonstrations and plenty of hands-on welding. Students MUST choose ONLY one type of welding they wish to be qualified in from the following:
- Award in Manual Metal Arc (MMA)
- Award in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding;
- Award in Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

Tuition Fee = £450.00
Fees are payable annually.
Course and registration fees: £640
For each qualification candidates will be required to complete practical assignments and knowledge tests for each unit/qualification.
