Overview
This course is funded through the Skill Up Programme. Skill Up has been designed to provide additional upskilling reskilling opportunities to improve the skills and profile of our local workforce. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications and should have access to to a PC or laptop for preparing submissions.
A mandatory induction session will be held on 15th January from 6pm to 7pm. You must attend this session before learning commences commence on 22nd January
The OCN NI Level 2 Award in Managing Challenging Behaviour in Children and Young People qualification has been designed to enable the learner to understand the reasons for and effects of challenging behaviour in children and young people, how challenging behaviour may be managed and what support is available.
Careers
This course is useful in educational, childcare, and social care settings where professionals work with children and young people who may display challenging behaviour. It also provides a foundation for further study in behaviour management, SEN, or child development
