Overview

GCSE Single Award Science is delivered one evening per week for one year at our Titanic Campus. The course follows the CCEA GCSE Single Award Science, revised 2017 specification, subject code 1310, which is available form: http://ccea.org.uk/general_science
This course is intensive and introduces key aspects of science and its methodology. It gives students a broad overview of topics as relevant and varied as cells, food and diet in biology, atomic structure and the Periodic Table in chemistry, and electrical circuits and waves in physics.
You will study the following units:
Unit 1: Biology
Unit 2: Chemistry
Unit 3: Physics
Unit 4: Practical Skills
All examinations take place in May/June completed at either Foundation or Higher Tier with advice from your tutor.
