Overview
The HNC in Music is a 2 year Part-time course that will engage students in various aspects of the music industry today. The course modules include areas such as The Music Industry, Professional Development, Recording Technology, Sound Design and Composition.
The course will enable student’s to gain experience in the recording studio and post production techniques. Students with a flair for music and are willing to commit to the course will leave with a wide range of in-depth knowledge of music.
Please note the fees for this course for year 1 are £710 for Tuition fee and £205 for BTEC Registration Fee
Have evidence of competence in written and spoken English and Numeracy, equivalent to Level 2 certification in each subject or GCSE Grade C as required by the Awarding Organisation.
• Have attained at least 12 points at Level 2 or above (e.g. GCSE) or have alternative approved qualifications.
• Have attained a pass in at least one GCE A Level subject or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The College recognises that some adult learners will have substantial industry experience and may not have formal
qualifications to demonstrate skills, knowledge or capability. The College will work with such applicants to identify
