Accounting Technicians Ireland Level 4 Certificate for Accounting Technicians (603/5747/2)
Day of week: Monday, Tuesday
Times: 17:30 - 21:00
Overview
Having a recognised accounting qualification demonstrates expertise, experience and knowledge in accounting. Accounting Technicians Ireland provides an accounting qualification that is recognised by industry as one of the leading accounting qualifications in Ireland.
You may be exempt from some subjects if you have a relevant degree or have studied another professional accounting qualification. Prospective students MUST confirm any exemption entitlement with ATI at www.accountingtechniciansireland.ie BEFORE coming to enrol.
This is a one-year Level 4 Certificate programme which is both a standalone qualification AND also the compulsory pre-requisite qualification for entry onto the Level 5 Diploma programme (which itself is a standalone one year programme of study which many of the successful graduates of the Level 4 Certificate go on to complete).
Please note that the Certificate and Diploma as outlined above can be gained by completing and passing the above-mentioned courses. This will make you exam qualified and an affiliate member of ATI.
It is important to note that if a student wishes to become a full member of ATI they must also have completed 2 years (3,360 hours) of relevant work experience which can be completed before, during, or after study. Gaining and documenting relevant work experience is a requirement for obtaining any professional accountancy qualification. There are two work practice modules (one at Level 4 and one at Level 5) which should be completed by those individuals who are gaining relevant work experience and wish to do so. These modules are not part of the College course (because they are optional) and are to be completed directly with ATI. Further details and information can be found on the ATI website.
Syllabus
This accounting certificate is awarded on successful completing of the 4 modules listed below over one year. This combination of subjects is specifically designed to provide students with a solid grounding in business as well as a strong foundation in accountancy.
