This course is a two year, full time programme in our Titanic Quarter Campus.  Do you who wish to undertake a degree course in pure biological sciences, work in the bioscience industry or pursue a career in one of the health-related professions?

This course is concerned with the development of personal and academic confidence.  You will study Biology, Chemistry, Study Skills and ICT if you have not achieved a Grade C or equivalent in ICT. 

This programme is likely to include enrichment units, which are an additional component to enhance your employability and progression. A minimum attendance of 80% is expected on all aspects of the course.

Requirements
  • Have been out of full-time education for at least 2 years
  • GCSE Grade C or above in English (or Level 2 equivalent Literacy qualification)
  • GCSE Grade D or above in Maths (or Level 1 equivalent Numeracy qualification)

Most modules are assessed through a combination of coursework assignments, practical lab book, portfolio of work, case study, practical investigation and exams
