Applications will open on Monday 1st December at 2pm for our 2nd semester courses
Essential Skills in ICT aims to develop your confidence in using a computer and digital skills for the workplace and everyday life. You will develop skills in:
- Internet searching
- Using Email
- Word processing
- Spreadsheets
- Database
- Health and Safety and Data Security in ICT
Completion of Initial Assessment – meeting pass criteria
ESOL learners should have achieved level 1 in Reading, Writing and Speaking & Listening or be at this level.
Essential Skills courses are free
As topics are taught in class, an assessment will be taken in the classroom and marked by the tutor. These completed tasks will build your portfolio of skills evidence. Upon completion they will be sent to Internal Quality Assessment and if successful a certificate will be sent out to your home.
