This course is funded through the Skill Up programme. Skill Up has been designed to provide additional upskilling and reskilling opportunities to improve the skills profile of our local workforce.
About the Course
The OCN NI Level 3 award in Professional and Technical Media Production Practices is a fully funded upskilling programme. It aims to enable the learner to become occupationally competent in professional and technical media production practices and is aimed at learners who aspire to work professionally in film, television, visual and aftereffects.
This programme runs for one week, and participants will attend the e3 Campus in Belfast. Training will be delivered Monday to Friday from 10am – 3.30pm, where students will work towards the OCN NI Level 3 award in Professional and Technical Media Production Practices.
Students will also gain insight from key industry partners and will learn in Belfast Metropolitan College’s state-of-the-art Creative Media facilities.
Eligibility for this course:
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the programme:
- over 18 years of age.
- eligible to work in Northern Ireland.
- ‘settled’ in Northern Ireland, and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years; or
- a person who has indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK.
Documentation confirming eligibility of the above criteria will be requested prior to securing a place on the course.
- Learners must successfully complete a single unit worth 3 credits to achieve this qualification.
