Find Your Next Step at Belfast Met this Clearing Season
As students across Northern Ireland consider their next steps, Belfast Met is encouraging learners to explore the education and training opportunities available through its upcoming Clearing events.
While some students already know what comes next, others may be rethinking their plans or exploring options they had not previously considered.
At Belfast Met, the message is simple: there is more than one route to success.
Belfast Met Principal and CEO Damian Duffy said:
"Results season is an exciting but sometimes anxious time for students and their families. The most important thing to remember is that there is more than one route to success and finding the pathway that's right for you is what matters.
At Belfast Met, we offer opportunities that can lead directly to employment, apprenticeships, higher-level qualifications and professional careers.
We are proud to provide an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students from all backgrounds can gain the skills, confidence and experience they need to achieve their goals."
From career-focused qualifications and apprenticeships to higher-level study and professional development, Belfast Met offers flexible routes that help learners achieve their ambitions.
Applications for Belfast Met courses have been open since last autumn, with prospective students able to apply for up to five courses.
With hundreds of courses across a wide range of subject areas, Belfast Met welcomes school leavers, adult learners, career changers and those returning to education. Whether you're progressing from GCSEs, A Levels or BTECs, returning to education later in life or developing new career skills, the College offers flexible routes to help you reach your goals.
Learning that leads to success
Belfast Met works closely with employers and industry partners to ensure its courses reflect the skills needed in today's workplace.
Students benefit from industry-standard facilities, practical learning and employer engagement that prepares them for the world of work. In the 2026 Learner Satisfaction Survey, 98% of students said their course is preparing them well for a future career or further study.
Opportunities include:

· Apprenticeships and Higher-Level Apprenticeships – combining paid employment with nationally recognised qualifications.
· Access Courses – helping learners develop the confidence, skills and qualifications needed to progress.
