Belfast Met LEAD Launch

L-R: Gary Mackin (SRC), Nicola Quinn (SWC), Paula Graham (Director of People & Culture, Belfast Met), Emma Finney (SERC), Siobhan Lyons (Interim Director of Development & Partnerships (Belfast Met), Gillian Moss (NWRC), Stephen Rogan (SRC), Craig Fairless (NRC), Colin McGuckin (SERC) and Helen Hampsey (NRC).

Belfast Met is delighted to announce the launch of the NI Sectoral Leadership Programme, LEAD – a collaborative leadership development initiative bringing together colleagues from across the Northern Ireland Further Education sector.

The launch took place in the Linen Lounge at our Titanic Quarter campus, where we were pleased to welcome the first cohort of senior leaders. This marks the beginning of a shared journey to build skills, exchange insights and develop strong professional connections that will extend well beyond the programme itself.

Through this collective initiative, the sector aims to enhance the overall capacity and capability of our colleges, with a particular focus on strengthening leadership skills among current and aspiring leaders.

A key ambition of LEAD is the development of shared leadership resources that will support a strong and sustainable talent pipeline for Further Education. We look forward to seeing this group grow together, collaborate and make a lasting impact across the sector.
