Belfast Metropolitan College celebrated the achievements of its Further Education students at its annual Celebrating Success FE Awards, held at its Titanic Quarter Campus on Thursday 26 June.

The event recognised 31 students from across the College’s curriculum areas and Student Support services, celebrating their commitment, progress and success throughout the academic year.

Awards were presented by Belfast Met’s Chief Operating Officer, Aidan Sloane, with students recognised across a range of categories including Student of the Year, Spirit of the Met, Digital by Design, Career-Ready Student of the Year, Student Endeavour and Student Volunteer of the Year.

The awards highlight the many ways Belfast Met students demonstrate ambition, resilience and achievement, whether through academic excellence, developing industry-relevant skills, supporting their peers or making a positive contribution to the wider College community.

Among those recognised was Health, Wellbeing & Inclusion student Joshua McCann, who received the Spirit of the Met Award at Entry Level. The award celebrates students who embody the values of Belfast Met through their enthusiasm, determination and contribution to College life.
