Belfast Met is offering FREE places, on a number of accredited short courses and academy style programmes.
These courses have been designed to provide additional upskilling and reskilling opportunities, focused on supporting individuals who ordinarily would not have applied for one of the courses, to engage in learning and improve the skills profile of our local workforce.Requirements

To take part in a Skill Up course or programme, you must be:
Documentation confirming eligibility of the above criteria will be requested prior to securing a place on the course.
Get into Hospitality, funded through the Department for the Economy (DfE) Skill Up programme, offers participants a free two day course aimed at those seeking a part or full-time career in Hospitality.
Successful participants on the programme will gain a City & Guilds Level 2 Principles of Customer Service with the courses delivered in industry, by industry experts. The programme will also cover key introductory practical skill areas enabling new entrants to upskill in food service and bartending.
Skill Up is also supporting a range of bespoke schemes to support graduate placements and women returners, through a mixture of online training, provided by Belfast Met with a placement at an employer to support growth, development and recovery.
