ILM level 3 Award in Leadership and Management Skills
Day of week: Thursday
Times: 18:00 - 21:00

Overview

ILM has recently undergone a significant review of its qualifications and has now launched its new suite of Leadership & Management qualifications at Levels 2–5 which they have built for flexibility, relevance, and real-world impact.

The new ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management Skills represents a fundamental shift in how this qualification is to be taught and assessed. Targeting supervisors and junior managers or those seeking a step into leadership, it looks at contemporary leadership as it faces the modern realities of AI & automation, hybrid team management and inclusion.

The programme encourages candidates to review their own leadership qualities in order to adapt to the needs of the modern organisational context. It also equips candidates to apply structured, evidence-based approaches to problem solving and decision making in the workplace.

The ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management Skills at Belfast Met combines the following modules:

  •          Developing Effective Leadership Skills
  •          Problem-solving and Decision Making

The programme will be delivered using a blend of face-to-face classes and online sessions, making it manageable alongside full‑time employment. This structured yet flexible approach enables learners to build their portfolio progressively over the duration of the course, supported by tutor guidance and peer discussion, while directly applying learning to their day‑to‑day work place responsibilities.

Please read our Terms and Conditions before applying for or enrolling on any of our courses.
