The Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) course provides learners with a comprehensive introduction to cloud computing and the Microsoft Azure platform. Designed for individuals who are new to cloud technologies, the course explores core cloud concepts and the fundamental Azure services that underpin modern digital infrastructure, including computing, networking, storage and security.
Through a combination of practical examples and industry-relevant knowledge, learners will develop an understanding of how cloud technologies are used to support business operations, improve scalability and enhance organisational flexibility. While the course focuses on Microsoft Azure, the principles and concepts covered are transferable and provide a strong foundation for understanding other cloud platforms and services.
For employers, this qualification supports the development of essential cloud skills that can help drive digital transformation initiatives, modernise IT systems and enable the future adoption of emerging technologies such as data analytics, automation and artificial intelligence (AI).
No prior experience is required, making this an ideal starting point for learners with basic technical knowledge who want to develop practical cloud computing skills and explore emerging technologies. You will need to be computer literate and have access to your own laptop for this online course.
There are no fees for this course and is open to employees from the ME sector or anyone hoping to switch careers or gain employment within the sector.
There will be an exam on the final day of the course.
