CCEA Level 3 Advanced Subsidiary GCE In Health and Social Care (2 A Levels) (601/8919/8)
Overview
This is a two-year, full time 2 A Level programme which allows progression onto further study or employment.
You will learn about health and wellbeing, human behaviour and safeguarding children. You will study care services including traditional and holistic therapies and examine the rights and responsibilities of both service users and service providers.
You will also investigate the importance of communication in care settings and how positive care can be promoted. Through practical activities, you will apply your knowledge and understanding to work-related contexts, develop research, evaluation and problem-solving skills.

Preference may be given to those with Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent.
An Access NI check will also be undertaken for all students at the commencement of the course.
Entry requirements can change and be discussed on an individual basis if necessary.
Proof of qualifications MUST be provided when you enrol e.g. exam certificates.
Achieved and pending qualifications can be recorded on your online application account.
All courses within Belfast Met are delivered and assessed in English, with the exception of language specific courses. Your competence in English must be verified prior to enrolling on your chosen course.
