Tech Connects
What is Tech Connects?
Tech Connects is a PEACE IV funded Programme aimed at 17 – 24-year-olds living in Belfast.
Tech-Connects aims to raise awareness of ICT career pathways and encourage more young people to choose the relevant subjects and skills required to work in the rapidly expanding ICT sector in Northern Ireland.
What can Tech Connects do for me?
Tech Connect is a fun and interactive short programme which can help you find out more about:
- What tech is and how you can use it.
- What the world might look like in 2050.
- What are digital and technical skills.
- You will have a chance to use tech / Digital skills you didn’t know you had!
What will the programme look like?
- 26 hours of your time
- 2 days training
- A chance to talk to people who work in tech
- Advice and guidance on your next steps

The programme is funded through Belfast City Council’s PEACE IV Plan and is delivered by Belfast Met in partnership with the Bytes Project.
