This qualification comprises of a competence framework and knowledge based framework which together when achieved make up the overall ApprenticeshipsNI qualification. This qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in a competitive sales environment. The following areas that can be covered within this qualification: Pricing for sales promotions, Participate in meetings, Manage personal development Monitoring performance of sales team, Monitoring sales, Implementing sales support programmes, Using digital sales channels, Developing sales proposals, Building sales relationships, Analysing buyer behaviour, and Generating sales leads All learners will cover the mandatory core units and then a choice of optional units. Level 3 will suit you if you're progressing in your career and have significant knowledge and experience. At this level you are required to demonstrate greater autonomy in completing tasks.
An Apprentice needs to be employed or be about to take up paid employment as an apprentice with a Northern Ireland company and be working a minimum of 21 hours per week (which includes off-the-job-training). Also as an apprentice, you must be the minimum school leaving age in Northern Ireland. Furthermore, please refer to the College’s admissions criteria, which are outlined at the beginning of this document.
All fees are set in accordance with DfE regulations.
Opportunities and Progression
This qualification could lead to jobs such as: Insurance Business Development Manager, IT Technical Sales Specialist, Retail Assistant, Sales Manager, Sales Representative, Travel Agent. Also on successful completion of this Level 3 Apprenticeship you can in your current employed position progress to a Higher Level Apprenticeship with your employer’s support.
