Digital marketing and the use of social and digital media is a key part of business marketing and practice today. Businesses are continuing to look for more digital marketing capability and capacity in house and so creating the current demand for skilled people in this sector.

This two year programme is designed to equip learners with the ability to understand, utilize and develop the skills needed whilst working in social media and digital marketing for business purposes. It also builds transferable skills in communication, team working and the ability to self-reflect.

Career Opportunities / Progression

Successful completion of the two year programme will facilitate direct entry to degree courses in Marketing, Business, IT or alternatively progress to employment. Job roles may include Social Media Assistant, Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Analyst, Mobile Marketing Manager with responsibilities such as managing and monitoring online communities, working with business to promote, utilize and increase presence through platforms, creation of blogs etc.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of 48 New Tariff UCAS points 2017 and to include GSCE English and Maths at minimum Grade C or equivalent.

This qualification is aimed at learners with experience of the Digital Marketing sector and may have completed the Level 3 Diploma in Social Media for Business or Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing.
