Adam talks about his time studying Visual Effects

The Visual Effects course was a great opportunity to learn the high-level skills and workflows necessary to become a professional in the VFX industry. The teaching team has a wide range of industry experience across many disciplines and are always able to provide insightful feedback on work to achieve the standard expected in today’s industry.

Unfortunately, due to COVID I was only able to spend a few months of the course on campus, however, the teaching team did not let this get in the way of the course as they managed to get us access to remote desktops allowing us to use the college computers and software from home which was amazing given the importance of access to these facilities on a course like this. It is this sort of thing that really shows the team are invested in the progression of the students and are willing to go above and beyond to help them produce their best work.

By the end of the course, I was ready for work in the VFX industry and over the 2 years of working I managed to put together some great pieces for my showreel to send alongside job applications.
