Belfast Met Students Shortlisted for Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Awards 2025
Belfast Met is celebrating seven nominations at this year’s Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Awards.
Announced on Wednesday 8 January 2025, the College has been nominated across five awards, including a new category for this year – the Public Sector Employer in partnership with their Training Provider.
Taking place on Wednesday 26 March, The NI Apprenticeship Awards recognise apprentices who are making a significant contribution in their workplace and have showcased a dedication to excel in their professional development and learning.
Belfast Met is thrilled to reveal that four students from the College have been shortlisted:
- Kathleen Healey – Apprentice of the Year Award
- Christine Marshall – Public Sector Apprentice of the Year Award
- Sarah Welsh - Public Sector Apprentice of the Year Award
- Connie Foley - Public Sector Apprentice of the Year Award
These awards also acknowledge the important partnerships between employers and training providers that support the growth of skills in Northern Ireland. The College is thrilled to be finalists in two categories: Large Employer in Partnership with a Training Provider Award and Public Sector Employer in Partnership with a Training Provider Award.
