Job Opportunity - Chief Executive for Belfast Metropolitan College

On Behalf of Clarendon Executive

Our client is one of Belfast’s largest employers and is a main contributor to the growth and success of the economy of the City and the wider region. This award-winning organisation prides itself on delivering excellence, with an ambition to further develop the major impact it makes. This will be achieved through transformative change across the organisation and working collaboratively with a range of private and public sector stakeholders with a truly inclusive societal focus.

Becoming Chief Executive presents the opportunity to lead a great organisation through an exciting but challenging new phase, driving it forward towards the achievement of ambitious goals, always seeking to deliver more with value at its core. This is an exciting and high-profile role which comes at a time of considerable challenge, market change and opportunity.

The role requires drive, ambition, visibility and engaging leadership. By necessity, you must have experience of delivery within an outcomes’ focused operating environment and have had significant budget responsibility, together with a detailed understanding of corporate governance, financial appraisal and cost management. You will need to work collaboratively across all functions, never afraid to challenge the status quo, but always bringing an empowering and supportive approach that truly motivates and inspires others, encourages collaboration and a focus on innovation.

This exciting and high-profile role offers a competitive salary level and a rare opportunity for a passionate director to lead a highly respected organisation that has significant further ambition and make a real difference to society.
