Course/Tuition Fees for International Students
The prices quoted are in GBP, British pounds. Course fees are provided as a guide only and you may be required to pay additional exam and resource fees depending on your course. Course fees include the College ID card fee. All fees are based on a per year cost and are exclusive of exams and resources unless otherwise stated.
The whole tuition fee is payable in advance for International students.
We will accept the following methods of payment:
Electronic Bank TransferTo pay by Electronic Bank Transfer you must email a copy of the Electronic Bank Transfer remittance to the International Office at the College. Banks usually charge a fee for this service and you must take this into account when calculating the sum transferred. Money transfers should be paid to the College tuition fee account:

Please ensure your full and correctly spelt name appears on the bank transfer. As soon as the transfer has been made, please email the International Office informing them of successful transfer along with the following: - a copy of Receipt from your bank : - a short note from yourself indicating your Full Name, Date of Transfer Sent (as some payments may be made by parents, and we need to match with the relevant student).
Refunds
Belfast Met has a ‘no refunds’ policy. However, refunds may be considered if any of the circumstances outlined in the College’s Refund Policy has been met.
If after enrolment you decide to withdraw from your course for any other reason you will not get a refund.
International students making visa applications from outside the UK
If a visa application is unsuccessful, the tuition fee a student has paid will be refunded to the student less £500 for administration costs. The student must forward the decision letter from the UKVI within 7 days to the International Office. The tuition fee is not normally refunded for any other circumstances. If a visa is obtained, but the student decides not to study with Belfast Met College, the tuition fee will not be refunded.
International students making visa applications from inside the UKWhere students have applied for their visa, enrolled and started the course, and the visa application is unsuccessful, he/she does so at his/her own risk as no refund will be made. However, the student would be expected to appeal against the UKVI’s decision if the College considers this to be an appropriate course of action. The College may consider a full or partial refund of tuition fee to a student in some circumstances. The final decision will be made by the Finance Director.
International Students – Agents’ Commission
An Agent’s commission becomes payable once an international student has paid in full and is enrolled on a course. To have enrolled on a course means that the student either has a visa or, the student is in the UK and has applied for a visa. Full payment of the due commission will be paid to the Agent if the visa is subsequently refused. The student will not receive a refund in these circumstances.
