Enterprise & Lifestyle Programme

The Enterprise and Lifestyle Programme is a part time adult education programme for adults with moderate/severe learning difficulties.

Where is the programme located?

The programme is delivered in our Millfield and Castlereagh campuses. Students may attend one or two days a week.

What is the aim of the programme

The programme curriculum is designed to enhance work, employability with enterprise, life and independent living skills. Reading, writing, numeracy and IT Skills are embedded in the content.

What does the programme involve?

BAKE - Acquire baking skills. Set up a coffee shop!

POP-UP - Set up a pop-up retail shop. Real life retail skills training.

EXPLORE - Belfast is a tourist destination! Brush up on your travel skills.

LUNCH CLUB - Learn how to cook for yourself and others.

ARTS CLUB -Get involved practically in creative projects!

IT FOR BUSINESS - Computers in the workplace.

OUTREACH - Recycling, Conservation and Volunteering.

CARE - Identify local community groups and help with fundraising!.
