Information for Parents and Carers

Belfast Metropolitan College moved all teaching and learning online to enable our students to remain in their homes, in line with Government guidance around social distancing and self-isolation.

It’s important to recognise that these are very difficult and stressful times for both students, their families and for our staff who are working hard to ensure that teaching and learning can continue and that students can complete their academic year and achieve the results they need to move onto their next chapter of their learning, or into employment.

Belfast Metropolitan College extends its gratitude to all parents who are dealing with difficult circumstances, particularly around balancing work, childcare, home schooling and caring for relatives and potentially those who are sick. Thank you to all parents for their support and understanding during these times.

As we continue to plan for the reopening of campuses and the next academic year we would like to take this opportunity to assure you the safety and well-being of staff and students will remain paramount.
