Childcare Grant

The Childcare Grant is available to full and part time Further Education students with dependant children in prescribed childcare as outlined in the FE Award Guidance booklet You can receive up to 100% of your actual childcare costs although the rates are different for full and part students. Help is also available if you are on a two year course and require assistance with childcare for the summer holidays between year one and year two. How much you get depends on your income and that of your dependants (including your husband, wife or partner). Adult Dependants’ Grant

If you have a spouse / partner (of either sex if you began your course in or after 2005) or another adult, usually a member of your family, who depends on you financially, you may be eligible.
