Belfast Met Chief Executive Receives Award of Excellence

Congratulations to Marie-Thérèse McGivern on winning the prestigious Institute of Directors (IoD) Award of Excellence. The award is Marie-Thérèse’s second accolade from the IoD since receiving the Public Sector Director of the Year Award in December for her outstanding leadership and development of Belfast Met. Each winner of the award was then nominated for the Award of Excellence, which Marie-Thérèse received at the annual IoD dinner held at the Europa hotel.

The IoD awards are adjudicated by a group of esteemed peers within their field and acknowledge the winner’s proactive approach towards business growth, corporate governance and responsible directorship. As a result of her deserved win in December Marie-Thérèse was nominated for the IoD Lunn’s Award of Excellence. The next stage for each of the winners of the Northern Ireland Director of the Year Awards is the UK Director of the Year finals in late 2015.
