Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity

In recent years, the College has continued to provide an inclusive culture in which every individual is encouraged to participate fully and is treated with dignity on the basis of their ability. However the journey continues and much work still remains to be done.

To this end, the College has or is currently undertaking a series of initiatives:

1. We are refreshing our equality and diversity commitments;
   
2. We revamped our College Equality Forum to promote cross College working in this area;
3. We are hoping to achieve an Investors in Diversity Award by the end of 2015; please watch out for a short online survey which will be issued within the next few weeks; and,
4. We are revisiting our website and SharePoint sites to ensure useful information is available in an accessible and user friendly format.

Our Commitment

Our Equality Forum
All of us have a responsibility to promote equality, diversity and inclusivity. By working together across the College we can share good practice and collectively challenge inappropriate behaviour or conduct.

Membership of the Equality Forum is drawn from across the College and at all levels; Trades Unions and Students Union are also represented.
