Braille Facilities
|
For students who are Braille readers and need information in Braille, please contact the Centre for Inclusive Learning. The Centre has the relevant software package to convert written text in the form of a Microsoft word document, into the Braille format.
Documents that are relevant to the programme of study can be provided in Braille and if required, puffy diagrams can also be produced. Course texts and materials which cannot be Brailled may be sourced in alternative formats in negotiation with the individual student and staff team.
Students and staff are encouraged to avail of this facility; however we would ask that where possible plenty of notice is given, especially if text has to be re keyed into a Microsoft word document. |
