The CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate aims to equip you with the skills, knowledge and understanding to perform professionally in a support-level marketing role. You will develop a good understanding of the wider role of marketing and how your practical skills can be applied to future career progression.
Who is it for?
The CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing is for people of all ages and stages of their career. Ideal for managers in non-marketing functions, entrepreneurs, apprentices and those starting out in a marketing career.
Assessment methods are employer-driven, practitioner-based and appropriate for business needs and involve both an online multiple choice exam and an assignment.
The CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing at Belfast Met
To gain the Foundation Certificate in Marketing, a pass in the mandatory module (Marketing Principles) and one elective module (Digital Essentials) is required.
Marketing Principles (mandatory module).
Presents the key concepts and terminology used in marketing. This module gives you a knowledge and understanding of the role and function of marketing within organisations and explores the factors that can influence consumer behaviour.
Delivery: Week commencing 17th September 2018 – week commencing 26th November 2018
Assessment: Multiple choice exam on 4th December 2018
Digital Essentials (elective module)
Provides an understanding of what is meant by digital marketing and the key communication tools used in a digital campaign.
Delivery: Week commencing 7th January 2019 – week commencing 18th March 2019
Assessment: Assignment submitted end March 2019
